Had a test drive in the vRS today, and loved it!
Test drive was great, car felt really responsive with good performance gains over my polo tdi 100, handling was fantastic, really enjoyed driving it.
Got sat down to talk figures, and my local dealer tells me he can get a new one (non metalic) for £11500 otr, GREAT!!
Then it all goes wrong: First offered £5500 for my 52 plate (probably around book price, ok). Then he goes off to look at finance,
comes back and says he can get me in the car for £299 per month, thought that sounds fine, then he says it would be over 60 months, which I calculate to be £17940...erm I think not!
I'll look at financing one else where!
