I used these.

On sensing reverse gear engagement, it feeds 12V to the tilting mirror motor.
When you shift out of reverse, the module tilts back the mirror to the original position, by feeding voltage in opposite polarity.
I chose this method as I do not have the tilt motor with memory, and it's also straight forward to implement.

You will also need to tap the reverse +12V.

I intercepted the wires at T12 connector.

So it's inferior to stock tilting mirror as it's simply tilting mirror by an amount of time.
After some weeks, you may find your mirror going out of position and needs fine positioning. This is likely due to voltage differences when the engine is running vs non-running.
I find using this DC-DC converter helps : https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/ ... ND/4488021 . I'm looking to implement a delay timer soon as the converter is supplied by battery currently.

I have actually installed 2 of these for my passenger side mirror: for left/right and up/down movement.
Then I programmed the left/right module to mode 1 and the up/down to mode 2(see the pdf above).
In mode 2, my mirror will tilt down only if I shift in sequence R(for about 1 sec)->D->R. The module tilts the mirror by sensing gear positions is especially attractive for me.

Hi Ciclo, I've question on WL3.
I've ordered the switch with p/n: 6R0 941 531G APV, and fabricated WL3 exactly as in
"How to install 7E0937090B in 2011 Polo 6R non Bluemotion ‘H7’ halogen headlights (Pave).pdf".

From your previous post, I understand my car has some minor differences in wiring scheme at the dimmer and light switch.

To adapt the BCM Max you must follow this installation guide.

Yes, there is some difference in the wires reaching the Light switch/Dimmer connectors.
- Blue / Gray = Yellow / Gray (T17 connector, and T6 connector)
- You must also remove/isolate the T17/6 original wire.

As for the Chinese automatic lights kit.
It is the old kit, in the new one the black box is smaller and it does not have the red wire (this red wire in old Kit is for the CH/LH functions - when connected to the blinker wire -).

If it does not work, remove it.

For auto lights it is best with original parts. (RLS, LSW AUTO, etc.)

I will remove the old switch with black box.
Will I be ok with the new light switch if I use WL3 as it is, and additionally isolate T17/6 ?

I bought this in case I'm installing fog lamps in future.
For now, I will not. I'm ok with the switch not doing anything in the fog on position.

Hi Ciclo,

I've fabricated BCM Max wirings and installed them today. Kufatec's wiring have mostly been replaced apart for the T14-T10 adaptors.
After some coding, the xenon headlamps worked instantly as they should

I really appreciate your help!

Cornering lamps are working as well, just that left and right are reversed. I've coded module 19-> Byte 1 for RHD but that just corrected the MFD doors' statuses.
Should I just swap T73b/9 and T73b/10 ?

I haven't done ABS and xenon range initialization yet thus the errors below.
I'm not sure why "02: Auto Trans" is unreachable though. Will observe again when I'm done with the initialization.

You have to type 0 for all keys. (never 1,2,3 or something else)
Test, save and do the indicated process.

There may be faults due to the type of lamps you have installed for the various lights.
Check that 'Coming Home' works.
Post a new Autoscan.

Your DSG gearbox can be read by the VCDS individually by entering in address 02.
These DSG gearboxes of A/B model years communicate in a different way than the following manufactured models. Right now I can not check the Elsawin for diagrams ...

You can also customize the reading of all units when performing the VCDS autoscan (to show all units you want). Please talk to benzinkopf, I explained to him how to do it.

BCM Max upgrade only opens the door to more such experiences!

Hi Ciclo,

Update:
I've done the following:
1) Keyfobs successfully programmed

2) Corrected CAN Gateway coding
3) Performed basic setting for ABS
4) Performed basic setting for xenon range module. I haven't align beam pattern properly yet.
For now, I'm just doing basic setting to clear the DTC.
5) Tried BCM coding as per your instruction

When I switched off engine, the cabin light is on until I leave the car and locks the car by remote.
When I unlock the car by remote, cabin light comes on, then turns off when ignition on.
I did not know at time of testing to observe the headlight and tail light also. Was not familiar with this feature.
Will observe again tomorrow.

Latest scan gave error on reverse lamp diagnostic, which I find strange as diagnostics for backup lamp is already disabled.
It comes back even after clearing the DTCs.
I'm using full LED taillights https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1 ... uav4oqe1eb
by the way.

Another error is related to xenon range module.
I'm using LED H7 bulbs https://www.philips.com.sg/c-p/12985BWX ... light-bulb for the cornering lamps.
I can change them out for halogen if required.

Regarding our bi-xenon headlamps: will they perform a up/down sweeping range check each time the engine is started?
Because I don't see them doing it, even after xenon range basic setting is accepted.
