Thanks very much . I will do that. I am communicating on this forum with my mobile phone and i use a lap top for diagnostics. I am not sure how I will copy and paste from the mobile phone into vcds. Can I just type the code in without spaces?

Maybe open the forum with your laptop is safer. A typo is made quickly

My laptop does not have a permanent internet connection , I will see if I can use my mobile phone as a dial up modem to connect it to the internet.

I have one more question, can i purchase a used polo hatchback 1600tdi abs pump and code it in a 1600tdi sedan model ?The part number for the hatch back abs pump is 6R0614517AF and the sedan model 6RU614517A . I cannot find the exact matching part number for the sedan model, it's really scarce in South Africa.

Probably yes, but why would you want to do that? The ESP8.2i (6R0.. AF) is an excellent system and more advanced than the 'simple' ABS (6RU...A)

The 2013 vw polo 1600tdi sedan model ,abs module is not responding to vcds. I opened it and found some broken wires on the circuit board which I can't solder back on. The solder won't take. So I need to buy a used one.

I think I saw a post of yours somewhere ,where you had an abs pump for sale for 100 euros . Would you by any chance have that part number 6RO614517AF for sale? I have seen a couple used one's on EBay, but I am a little hesitant because I don't know if they work. I tested 3 locally and 2 did not respond to vcds and the 3rd had a 52 digit code and a different part number.

I should be needing more in future, I plan on rebuilding and selling one polo 6r a month which I get from insurance salvage. I am going to study your point of reference chart. I am going to ask you to help me with 2 more calculations , one for my 1.6 tdi and the other for a golf 7 Gti while I familiarise myself with the chart details.

No problem, but I cannot code the Golf 7. Just the esp on the polo and family let me know when you need anything. We're here to help...

I will try build it from your point of reference chart and maybe you can just check if it's correct. I like to learn. I actually build engines, transmissions, do wiring , body work and painting. I love vw cars.

Restoring lost abs coding on esp component M60EC1. Hi Iichel when I spoke to you 6 days ago, I said golf 7 , it's actually a golf 5 with part number 1K0614517CP. For this one I have the auto scan which displays zeros and no idea what the original was. I am searching for help with this one since Monday, can you please steer me in the right direction. I came across the name iichel on a Ross tech forum dealing with the m60ec1 and i don't know if it's you.
