Haha fair enough, that's one way I guess, if not then an ecu set is about 100 quid

Nice way to invalidate your car insurance :lol:

Better to pick up a used immobiliser, and new chips for the keys and get them reprogrammed

Or you tell your insurance that you have no immobiliser [emoji854] .. not been disconnected, all sorted now [emoji4]

Classes as a modification as its factory fitted - some insurers use that as a reason to reject beleive it or not

And good :) what was the fix?

The chip for the key was held on to the ignition barrel by a cable tie & I didn’t know. Pulled the cable tie off n obviously the chip fell off. Taped the chip back on & cleared errors & works again [emoji23]
