Would recommend 100%. Completely changes the car and makes it a hell of a lot more fun to drive. I have the Revo map and now regret not doing the remap a year ago! Had it stock for almost two years. Looking to get an air intake system put in place too. After researching, both Revo or APR have fantastic results, my VW performance garage however recommended Revo to me.EDI GTI wrote: Sun Jun 17, 2018 8:51 pm @DasSantos Now that you have had it fitted for a little while would you recommend it? I've been looking at all the different companies so will probably start a contentious thread over the next few days when I've got prices to see who is best.

Ah yes, my mistake. The car is giving me around 280lb ft of torque now. I do feel it now that I think about it as the car almost lifts when you put your foot down.Dink wrote: Sun Jun 17, 2018 9:16 pmDasSantos wrote: Sun Jun 17, 2018 8:06 pm
I have a manual Polo GTI. The torque figure is low but the increase in speed has almost made up for that low figure as well as the increase in BHP I suppose.
The stock manual polo gti has 236lbs/ft of torque
Looking at the revo website you should now be somewhere between 270-290 lbs/ft

Ahh, I got mine installed by a garage in the North West called ADS Automotive. It's a performance VW specialist garage who I use for servicing and any mods that need doing. Would recommend to anyone struggling to find a place
