Fully agree though, its entirely down to the dealership to resolve this situation as they have contracted the valeter to do the work on the car you have bought.

On the flip side of all this, its an excellent story to share.

I didn't read the fully the circumstances where the OP took delivery of the car, then noticed the unwanted 'design'. Reckon it's covered under 'not given the opportunity to fully view the car at time of purchase', or words to that effect, as the 'design' wasn't apparent until the windscreen was being demisted....
