Don't get me wrong I'm not in a strop or mad about it, it was just the way the rep didn't really want to know yesterday and his whole attitude towards it, could barely get a word in.
But the paint pens have worked quite well, can only notice if looking for the marks now.

I would still get them to remedy their own marks made - to a standard where they cannot be seen, even under close scrutiny. There is no way I'd tolerate them damaging my car to do warranty work and then not fixing that damage. Be calm and firm but insistent that they fix their damage. Ask to see the body shop manager, then take it higher if they don't aim to resolve.

Found where the front bumper chips are coming from! Next door to my work is a police station and they outsource the grass cutting to a firm, they use strimmers and leaf blowers to blow all the trimmings through our fence so they don't have to clear it up

If you can prove the stone chips are down to them, go after them.
One thing proving they blow grass/leaves through your fence, another to prove stone chips are down to them.
They should have liability insurance to cover them though.

The saving grace is that Pure White should be an easy colour to touch in the stone chips. If you use VW’s touch up paint, I’ve found the brush inside the cap far too big and thick to do a neat job. Much better IMO to use the end of a cocktail stick, the end of an unfolded paper clip or a child’s small thin bristled paintbrush.

Sod touching up chips that haven't happen by normal chance, but because of the negligence of others.
I'd be suing the garden company for a professional repair.
Presumably he has come to this conclusion because someone has seen it happening, so he has a witness/proof.

Fine if you can prove it - likely to be difficult with front bumper stone chips If no proof or witnesses, as the front bumper is one of the more susceptible areas to picking up stone chips during normal driving.

If the OP has no success getting the grass cutting company to accept responsibility, my advice if using VW touch up paint and a suitable applicator for the paint still stands.

The company who does the grass cuttings have previously smashed a window with stones they have flicked around, both my colleagues have been witness to them causing damage to property.
We called them up and explained what's going on 3 times and their boss didn't care but now seems they're going to do something, asked us to send photos of any damage to them.
Will see how it goes but the paint touch up pens do seem to work reasonably well, can only see the marks if look for them once touched up.
