Just analysing my printout...
I get the same Torque at 3900 rpm as a Stock vRS gets at peak lmao!
I change gear at 3000rpm lol
Performance Figures

Well i'll be taking the "beast" on the rollers next time around and after the mods...decat on standard exhaust with old passat tailpipe clamped on..passat airbox with induction kit on....i think i should be seeing 50bhp...and enough torque to pull a slug off glass.
I know I know.."how could he get so much power from a 1ltr engine"
Hard work and bull s**t!!
bwahaha!!

That's amazing josh
I bet your pleased, how much does the car weigh??? I bet bhp/ton is way up on the golf.
Getting my new car was a tough choice I was looking at Leons Mk5 Golfs the new Polo GT and the CTR. In the end I got the CTR cheaper than a polo GT and the ammount of power you can get out of them when you try is just stupid. Someone had a CTR Turbo putting out 350bhp (according to them) anyway insurance is so stupid now I cant afford to mod it for a year or so. That's why I got the Mk3 GT to keep me sane!!
Anyway the Fabia is a fantastic car, Only get the Polo GT if your care "that" much and dont mind paying the extra 000's for the 2 letters on the front.
James.

No, its not.dc wrote:Neo_VR wrote: the revo on Fabias/ibizas/polos is different to the golf version... its designed to have more torque as the car is lighter.. if you tried the same map on a golf.. the clutch and box would go bang... (tho my clutch is already fooked

The engine, gbox and clutch are exactly the same on the Golfs as they are on fabias, polos and ibiza. The clutch is the same on my car as it is on yours.
Funny how the 130pd engine code is ASZ in the golf, furby & the polo. The gearbox code is EFF. The ratios might be different but that's all.Nelson_Wilbury wrote:No, its not.
People like Oettinger and Dahlback Racing (TUV approved products) quote between 270-280lbs/ft for the furby and the golf from a remap. I can't therefore see how the Revo product can generate so much more torque. It would have to be operating well outside the normal tolerances to get that and the turbo and clutch would be knackered long before now.
Like I said try another dyno.

No, its not funny. Just because some models have the same engine code, doesn't mean the engines are the same. The 9N/6L/6Y Superminis all have the same base engine, however the MK4 Golf which has about 3 different versions alone for the ASZ engine code, none of which have ever been avaliable on the Superminis.dc wrote:Funny how the 130pd engine code is ASZ in the golf, furby & the polo. The Ibiza, VRS and GT also have different a cylinder head, inlet manifold, air filter system and injectors. The GT being further different to the other two in certain areas to meet newer emissons regulations.
The Gearbox code on the Superminis are FSM and HDS, EFF only fits the Golf and Bora.
I'd be interested to know where you got these so called misguided 'facts' from?
Funny how nearly all the UK tuners get around 300lb/ft out of PD130s from their chips and remaps.
Oettinger make weak remaps for manufacturers approval (to save warranty claims on clutches when they decide to slip in 6th at 90mph)...dunno about Dahlback but their 900bhp MK4 looks stupid and is a waste of rubber IMO.

419!! OMG that's awesome mate!
315 in a little car isn't bad though is it hehe
It'll be interesting to see what the SeatCupra.net guys get on Sunday... Whether anyone gets more torque on JBS's rollers than they've had elsewhere etc.
TBH, everyone who's been on their rollers so far has been impressed with it's accuracy and often sensible results (not like certain other tuners who's rollers are very optimistic!)
JBS's rollers are the newest around and are the only 16" Rollers that I've heard of in this country.
