For some reason it sounds very tinny recording off my phone but it sounds much much better in person. You can still hear the pops tho

When driving inside the car is there any noticeable dronning?

It does sound noticeably better. Much less muted.

I use the same (ish) technique I used in my Abarth 500 (though obviously with much less satisfying results cos the Abarth was MUCH louder due to only having a cat and then a straight thru pipe to the single back box with no middle box from the factory!). Boot it in second (with the DSG in manual) and then abruptly lift off the throttle around 4-5k when the engine is nice and hot (or 3rd if on a nice A road though it is more effective from you being able to hear it if in a built up area with buildings to bounce the sound back to you) and it will produce some half decent DSG farts and the odd pop and crackle (have the windows open as well). They are pretty subtle and muted compared to something like an Abarth 500 but it will do them (even on a GPF equipped car like mine) and with a bit of practice you can make it do it whenever you feel like it without much thought.

When i wish to hear bit of the DSG farts. I roll All Windows Down.

I put the car in Eco-Mode, Change to Manual Mode. Hard on the accelerator! ,change gear on the gear lever at 3000rpm or 4000rpm.
hmmmm ... you make me want to break out of lockdown to test that one :P
Tried it this morning, no work for me unless it was your April 1st prank> :P
Definitely does work, a few users in our WhatsApp Group confirmed it too.You need to gun it! If I had a GoPro I would record it.

I recorded the sound of the Milltek non resonated catback that was fitted unto my pre GPF GTI:

I am very content. When driving normally the sound is very comfortable. When speeding up and decellerating it's very nice. Especially with the DSG in S. Great pops and bangs and farts at shifting

It’s beautiful [emoji102] I’m on a PCP deal and want to change out my exhaust. Worried that if I change it I won’t be able to change it back near the end of the pcp [emoji15]

So if you have an OPF you have to get an OPF back or else you will fail M.O.T's and it is illegal so OPF back will be the best option but the old exhaust has to be cut off the car and the new one clamps on.

Yeah the miltek is a OPF back but looks like a straight fit. I will get one if that’s the case but if it’s gotta be cut off and welded then not good for PCP
