shouldn't do, it's just done at higher revs & with stricter pass rates. probably just felt like ages because you were nervous about it failing

The catalyst emissions test does take slightly longer, especially if it doesnt pass first time.

yeah my GT has currently got my spare GT engine in it, so that I can modify the original next year sometime. I think its got 120k miles on it, but hadnt done a compression test before the MOT and it had been standing for a year or so.
