Sorry to join the conversation so late, i mite be up for this meet depending on when it is, should be able to get the time off work. JUst to get an idea what cars\mods you all driving that your thinking off taking? Mines: 6n2 1.6GTi with no mods as yet.

Well, this weekend is too late notice for anything, next weekend I'm going to germany, weekend after that is the start of next month, so all going to plan yours should be done by the time this happens

I'm thinking a sunday would be best to do this.. anyone who works a saturday shift will have problems otherwise. As for a date, starting from about a fortnight's time I'm up for anything, let me know if any of you would have problems with any particular days and I'll try and come up with a date around that.

Muz, personally I'm going to be driving my old mk2 1043cc, hardly modded and currently falling to bits every 5 minutes

Hopefully I should have a working carb and an exhaust that doesn't rattle by the time this happens though... I've just put a post in member's rides if you're interested.

Well Ill be bringing my Gti too Muz so there will be at least 2 of us !!!

I also wanna come to the meet so i can finally pimp slap Jon-PoloV for being a geeezah haha

Oh yea, and ill probably be smoking copeous amounts of Green, you might even see the smoke cloud before you see ma car !!!

I do think Lakeside is the one though, realy easy to link with eachother there and also mayeb the first sunday of next month could be sorted?

not sure if this is too soon for peeps though

Sunday will be fine-i'll need to book it off work so let me know when we def have a date sorted. Location, location location thats what it's all about-anyway lakeside prob will be quite busy wit xmas coming up. What about that service station idea?

Calvin I think we'll prob be the only GTi's most off them are up north aren't they? Like your wheels wait till you see mine-original GTi ones but with extra curbing from the previous owner and large amounts of curosion due to the laqure coming off before winter.
