I don't know what the internal shape of the Rapid PQ25 dashboard is where the switch fits, but on all VW Group PQ25s the AUTO letters are on the top of the switch.
If it fits crooked, it's not compatible.
The connector that corresponds to it is a red 10 pin connector (not the usual black one we use on PQ25), it indicates that it is for other models, PQ26/MQB.
I've seen it on Ali, it says for Rapid, but which one? PQ25 or PQ26?
Very few Ali sellers know what they sell, they don't have the slightest idea.

Ok, this is very interesting, the switch you show fits perfectly. It is not turned/twisted/croocked, so it is the correct one in terms of the way it fits into the dash, even though the AUTO position icon is not on the top.
Now you'll have to verify if it is electronically compatible once the wiring adaptation for BCM Max has been carried out. Obviously you should first test with AUTO switches that we know work correctly (ALL functions) for the PQ25, it doesn't matter if they are VW or SK, but the ones we know work would not be compatible with your dashboard.
I highly doubt the AUTO switch you have is compatible for all platforms, although it would be a pleasant surprise if it were.

I assumed it because of the electrical configuration in the original light switch connector, but I'd rather not assume. I've already found that in Skodas the ETKA says one thing and then the reality is another.
According to diagrams (not according to PR-codes) there should be an AUTO light switch for SK Rapid PQ25, but...
This is a nice new challenge as far as BCM Max adaptation is concerned, or at least entertaining.

Sometimes I wonder why the VW group didn't manufacture all PQ25s with BCM Max (technology known years before 2008), I think the VW group would have saved a lot of money in the manufacture of these cars if they had done it this way, I suppose the copper of the wires would be almost free for them as well as differentiating the status of the buyers as well...
