Total rework required there methinks

That said, Mk4 Golf style chrome GTI badges front and rear.

Nah, gonna leave as is. The GT is black and red, that's just a part of the style.

Does anyone know if those 'cult society' rear grab handles for the mk 2 golf fit ?

The original handle is the same as the one fitted to the Mk2 Golf, so I'd have said yes.

i presume they'd fit, but i know my colour coded grab ahndle came off a golf gti, and i had to modify the bit that goes aorund the numberplate light and make it slightly longer.
