i used a funnel & a piece of garden hose to fill mine up. I wouldn't worry too much about the amount of oil. you'll need 4 bottles of oil in any case (the stuff I've bought before has been sold in quarts which is just less than a litre anyway). You just fill it till it starts to come out of the filler hole with the car on a level surface.
