Â£120 ey? But that price doesn't inc. VAT/delivery I dont' think. But it doesn't sound too bad to be honest.

You think I should get them?

with 17s and lowered 50mm eibach.. they look the dog's *ahem*

That's what I thought. What should I go for though 50mm or 30mm? I'm going to find out about labour cost.

Eibach ones for sure? What abotu Spax, Apex, Pi, FK or the VW ones?

Yes. Don't they do some -30mm lowering springs? I remember seeing it on the volkswagen.de "Original ZubehÃ¶r" section. Not sure if you can get them over here though.

yeah, they are the eibach 30mm 1s i believe........ approved by VW

Oh right - didn't know that fact. All I know is that I printed those off ones and took them to my local dealer and he said he doesn't do them. Bet he didn't have a clue.

Must say Eibach ones aren't too expensive.

But what about the ones on eBay? They're like Â£30 some of them I saw - believe they were Apex or somethin' like that.

apex... VW dont approve.... and ive heard that eibachs are the "softest" out of a few makes of lowering springs. so if u dont want a jaw breaking ride then i wuld go for eibachs 50mm (for da looks!

missed a point.. a girl that i know has -60mm on her clio with apex springs.. for like Â£88 which is good value.. but tough ride according to her

That is "low". Wouldn't the tyres scrape the wheel arches during speed bumps or kerbs?

its very tight with 17s.. but shes got 15s just now..... she shuld of got sports shocks but she was on a low budget..

and also, standard shocks will wear out faster when fitted with lowering springs.
