My new GT
Thread hijack eh ?.
Thanks for letting me know Gra-GT.
I did order mine with ESP and climate so I knew it
was going to be a while. Just annoyed that I was told
I would get it before xmas and still waiting without a
date, the dealer does not seem to know if it has been shipped
over yet.
Have been driving my partners Ka for the last couple of
month's so looking forward to driving something decent.

p*** take response would be -Si_GTi wrote:What are these lane-changing indicators then?
facility fitted to most cars to communicate to other road users an iminent change of lane and rarely used
Serious response would be -
at a guess a touch the stalk for a pre-set number of flashes before it self cancels
Thats right, flick the stalk down part way and the indicator flashes 3 times then stops. They're pretty handy considering I do about 60-70 miles a day motorway driving. I know jrw had them in his Polo before he swapped it for a Bora so it takes a bit of getting used to when you cant do it anymore.Serious response would be -

Oh and Si GTI, your right, I might only just about beat him but barely, but he was challenging me so I had to exagerate a bit

They are standard on all polos (ive had enough courtesy cars to know!)
If you weren't bothered about them then Gra why did you want the winter pack? and dont say for the big washer bottle cos thats not the reason!
You don't wanna put stuff in my huuuugggeeee boot then when we go camping at the car shows, ie tent, beer, food, beer, food, beer, food...

Gotta admit the Bora's boot is huuuugggeeee like jrw says - bigger than my bedroom!
it just keeps on swallowing up the luggage...
Here's the parent's ride:

Note the massive boot there
Had a bit of a run out against the Bora the other day actually, and have to say I had my work cut out to keep on her tail
that torque just keeps her going and going... only one downside as standard - TDI engine keeps the nose down at the front, but check out the rear arch gap
