rear boot light ??? not there

Not greatly electically minded. however where from www.maplin.co.uk . I don't expect the rating will be that great any how to be able to run the neon's / cathode tubes, my fog lights use a 15amp fuse so less than that would probably be ok again, wire thickness again because it wont be that great probably doesn't have to be very thick. As i said not electrically minded or have the knowledge so i can't work out or give advice in this area. I used to have cathode tubes that ran off the same power i used for my amps which was from a distributor block, i didn't use a fuse between the distibutor block and the cathode just carried on relying on the 20amp fuse in the engine bay.

how can you put a thick power cable into the distributor block and have thinner wires to power up the amp and the lights?

easy it's a distributor block. the appliances use wires like a straw, the more it needs to get at one time the bigger the straw it will need, those who don't suck much can cope with a thin straw.

1 12v power in

other end

3 12v power? (eg, to power amp and 2 neons)
