As you unlock parts and cars in the career mode they become available in the "customise" mode accessible from the main menu. You can then cstomise cars to use in the quick race feature - bodykit, neons, engine mods etc - all the stuff you can buy in career mode

I've just done a carbonfibre corsa so you don't feel left out

Si there are loads o f hidden races about if you didnt know, when they come over the radio and say somethings big going down in hotel plaza for example there are races to be had there etc..

i've got a 106 as well oh and a hummer! don't forget you get SUV races when you select an suv!!

hummer is so bad handling tho (and big 'n slow )

My erm...version doesn't have the 106..but it does have the 206 to start with.

My one doesn't have the 106 either, dunno how far through I am but I'm getting very bored of it so I've gone back to HL2 and The Sims.

It's one race after another on the same stretches of road, and I keep winning mirrors (which all look naff) or slightly different roof scoops (woop woop).

I have stuck with the 206 throughout, despite having briefly upgraded to the Hyundai Coupe when I won that, then the TT when I won that. Nothing so far seems to be up to the pace of the Pug.

Basically the novelty's worn off, and I can't make my wide-arch rally replicas yet as it seems the wide arch kit is something you can't unlock until really late on in the game.

Seems the makers of the game didn't want the skyline to be all conquering like the first nfs:u, I dynoed it as standard and get about 220 lb ft of torque and less than 280 BHP it should be better than this! apparently the old 1.6 toyota corrola GTS thing is the fastest car in the game when fully modded, think i've just wasted all my money squeezing every last bhp out my Evo oh well at least it handles

btw you unlock the wide arch body kits by winning one of the 'outrun' races, make sure to make good use of the highway! it only lets you pick a wide body kit for one car too, and they both looked hideous on my supra

i wonder what the yanks make of the pug .... i assume the game is the same version worldwide

....and also how you fit that car in with the rather neat tagline i saw for it today (Go Anywhere. Go Anywhere Fast. Go Anywhere Fast Looking Like a Damn Pimp )

same story with NFS as with GT i guess - if you wanna win you have to get a rather bland but capable car to start with, and stick with it, tricking it out to a stupid level (like Daniel in Taxi 2 )
then you can start playing with the "interesting" cars, classics, special interest, and that simply just look superfly or have 'fun' handling. all of which are a lot harder to win stuff with...

I seen this a few days ago, the onyl one i used was unlocking the skyline in the quick race, That aint really cheating is it ???
