Has it been a really expensive project. I.e more expensive than your usual BT upgrade (Gt28) on 1.8T's?

went for bigger than a 28 so im not maxin the turbo out and it will see the power i want
not much more in the turbo kit 200 max from the price of the awesome gti kit and the backdraft kit and 1k cheaper than jbs plus intercooler airfilter plus some other bit so its worked out cheaper

the min of engine work you can do is rods and the clutch

i always have two weeks away on hols but told the mrs its a no go this year so the money is going on the motor
this can be done on other polos with no probs by the same guy he has some cheaper manifold and you could go bigger or smaller on the torbo all done to the spec you want
