Just a couple of pics of the first change I've made to my GTI. Genuine VW Carbon Optic wing mirror cars:




Bought them new, via VW dealer on eBay, at a good £40 cheaper than the £115 VW charges for them as new. Easy to fit as well, so long as you're gentle removing the wing mirror glass.

Next plan is to swap the front VW badge to black, but the grille is proving to be a real pain to remove.

Looks really good in red, had me thinking twice about getting a white one.

Red was my first choice, then I decided flat black at the last moment. Too late to change and regretting the decision now. I'm sure I'll love it when she arrives though.

I also liked the red, but I've gone with the deep black....I think the red decal that runs into the headlights will stand out more on the black that's the main reason, plus I've got a red golf atm so fancied a change!It does look rather sexy in the red though

Love that look! Any chance you could PM me the Part No or eBay listing? Really fancy doing this to mine, either Carbon or Gloss Black.

Only mods done currently are a dechrome and plastidipping the wheels. Have apex springs on order and plan on getting a set of audi rotors!
