Where did you source your headlight protectors? I've seen them crop up on the bay from time to time, but there doesn't seem to be a regular supply of them. Can you buy them direct from VW?

To be honest, I've had them in the cupboard for about five years!
I'm not sure if they are current items at the dealer anymore. Worth a try though
Otherwise, eBay is your best bet.

I dont blame you, british winter roads are terrible!
I have just bought my dad's 6N2 TDI off him so i'll be using that all winter and putting the Civic to bed

Little update
Order a nice new set of Eibach Pro Kit springs today which should give a nice subtle 35mm drop. Contemplated the sportlines, but Im only doing it for cosmetics and would rather not sacrifice comfort. If I was going down that route, I'd go for a H&R cup kit instead and do the lot!
More little updates to come

Yeah look forward to the pictures mate
How did you rate the H&R Cup Kit in terms of handling improvement / comfort?
I ask this because the TDI 6N2 which I now own appears to have a leaking shock at the rear and I wanted to change the springs anyway due to the horrendous ride height so i'm tempted to get a H&R kit at some point.

Pics on the weekend
H&R cup kit is a brilliant kit. Very comfy and the drop is perfect. Hard to get hold of now mind you
I would go Eibach Pro kit or Sportline Kit now. Ive just put the pro kit on and its subtle but not too low for daily use. If I was going for a more agressive look, Id've gone for the sportlines

Fitted the VW comfort indicator kit today
Means on just touching the indicator stalk left or right it flashes 3 times...useful for lane changing on motorways etc
The part number for the kit is 000 998 229
Its easy to install following the guide for the Lupo here
http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=61704
Wiring is a little different being the following:
Relay > Car Loom
49A White/Green > 1 Black/Yellow
49R Green > 2 Black/Green
49L White > 3 Black/White
31 Brown > 5 Brown
15 Black/White > 6 Black/Grey
Worthwhile addition if you feel comfortable doing it
