Auto lights is so much better though!

It's probably a similar kit...got a link?
The kit I have is a DIY job a skilled briskoda member put together. Made from a light sensor module from maplins.

It's a Follow Home/ignite when you unkock the car kit rather than an auto on light kit though. it connects to the interior light, so comes on when the interior light is on and it's dark enough. I have it set to trigger sidelights and fogs when you unlock (gives the fogs some use as I never use then otherwise!).

Ah I see. Yeah I've seen those kits but I felt it was better to go for an integrated solution rather than something that only did half of what I wanted lol

Took the winter wheels and headlight protectors off today as the weather is starting to warm up a little, and popped the 16" RX2s on after coating them with Carlack and a good coating of Collinite 476s

16"s make such a difference!

Much better indeed! i need to upload some pics of mine on 16s on ...

Alex how do you rate collinite for wheels? I've got Poorboys wheel sealant but would be open to try collinite if it works!

I don't really rate the poor boys if I'm honest

I like collinite and its perfect for wheels. I used it on the edition 30 wheels and they were still beading 6 months on!

Collinite's really good for wheels.

I concur with Alex, I have the poorboys stuff, but it doesn't last.

I'm currently doing quarterly coats of 3 layers of poorboys, 1 layer of Collinite.

When the poorboys runs out ill probably revert to two coats Collinite

Didn't realise you still had this. Looking good on the 16's Alex, although it needs a colour coded splitter IMO.

So today was spent sorting a few bits on the car namely a rear wheel bearing as it was droning and replacing the temperature sensor as it had completely given up

Seems my rear disks are in pretty bad shape now I've seen what the back side of one of them is like, so new discs and pads will be sorted in the next few weeks

After, I spent some time claying it as there was so much tar over the paintwork. I don't think it's ever been dealt with

Followed it up with a coat of chemical guys extreme all in one polish/glaze/sealant

It looks pretty good...
