Well the company come out too you so work out ok and it cost me 135.00

Was a lip roll all around and a flare all around so pretty descent i fort...........

No paint cracking at all as they heat up the paint and iv got filler repairs in both rear arches and they flared the most so was good.....

165 50 may be better for me as 45s are hard to source ina descent tyre

Re: Trotta's progress thread *!NEW WHEELS, ICE, LEATHER ,LOO

Post by Trottagti »

Havent updated for a while now so will start off on a bad note

1.Drilled out my door loom to run new wire and i broke both of them so had new door looms fitted, tbh they had been got at before anyways so £502 quid later, new looms all in. But they acid cleaned me wheels and yes my alulines r now f****d.......... so im having vw give me £170 to recover the cost of me polishing them back.grrrr crappy vw, and they lost my door locking pin and didnt order enough parts so im going back monday to have it finished off. linsgate chelmsord vw r poop.

2. GOOD TIMES on me sounds system tho,

Will be messing around with the boot later on sunday.

3. NEW WHEELS, dont have a clue what they came off or what there called but they have vw stamped in the back and r 6.5j 15" for £50 notes i couldnt not have them, need polishing up and painting inside the drum but yeah there my new wheels as im not keen on the alulines, if ya want me alulines just message me there for sale.

4. LEATHER INTERIOR, having all my seats, front and rear, door cards not just inserts, rear cards, parcel shelf and plastics eitherside, a b c pillars trimming in black to match headling and wen my system is done im having that trimmed in mk1 gti golf trim and matts the same and sunvisors in red leather with qualted centers on seats and card centres.

DONE......................................................

Nice update mate :)
Shame about the door looms but least you have got it sorted now.

Be nice to see what your car looks like sitting on those new rims, should look quality when their refurbed.

Yep JL audio ftw :D

Good progress on the boot build!

I noticed in the ICE section that you have put in new front speakers etc, just wondered what route you have chosen to run the new wiring for these?? Or have you spliced onto the existing wiring ?
