My BMC carbon airbox arrived today

Hope to fit that in the next couple of weeks!
Also got some aero wipers, think they look much better!
Will update soon when BMC is installed

Great stuff dude

your going to love the induction roar from the BMC, just make sure you get a nice cold air feed to compliment it, I think the correct size is 70mm diameter.

Aren't these universal and then you just get the right size piping?

Well over the last few weeks or so, iv noticed this strange pattern that has appeared on my wheel

Its gradually been getting worse

its sorta like a spiders web, and looks like somethings got under the paintwork and lifted the lacquer

Its being collected tomorrow, to be powder coated and then resprayed and lacquered. Heres a pic (not the best, but kinda shows whats happened)
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Thats not good dude, looks pretty strange i bet you're not the most chuffed about it.
Looks like it could be some sort or reaction on the paint or with the paint and lacquer.Pm a guy on here called trotta he's a painter and may well know.

Very strange dude, not seen anything to that extent before especially as they were recently done.
To be honest dude Powder coating is never that good and doesnt tend to last very long.
Unfortunately mine were powder coated too and they really do scratch & chip very easily, powder coating looks sweet when done but doesnt stay good for long.

Could be that the wheel wasnt baked enough when it was powder coated.
I have seen cracking occur before but not as bad as yours.
Will they be doing it for free Greg?

Yeah the UK polo's meet should be quality, we just need to sort out a location & date now, looks as if its going to be at a show rather than a general meet.
