I think I side more with the golf too (but I'm a VW girl not a Audi girl. So I would ;) lol)

Cheers Alex :)

Alex, when youve got a bit of spare time could you do a Quick write up(for dummies) on how to stop my passenger side repeater from flooding with water?

And You know the little interior light, over the back seats of the golf (as well as other cars of course) is it possible to put that in the polo? Is there enough room between the headlining, and the roof towards the rear of the car to fit one? Or is it a big fat no-no-not-possible-forget-it-girl?

Add me on facebook verity and ill chat to you on there about it lol much easier to have a conversation!

There is enough space in the roof - VW did in fact make a rear roof light for the 6n2 to match the front one. I can dig out the diagram/numbers if you want it

Thank you :D and im glad you think alike lol

Ill tell you what -The MPG of the S3 is shocking! I think the worst Mike has had was around 10 ( granted it was te second day of owning it and he was having his fun) but even now he can't get much higher. No where near the over 40Mpg I can get out of the golf lol

My Ed30 gets about 23-25 as an average in town, and ive had 36 on a longer run. Never hit 40 mind you!

I think it may be overfueling slightly though so I need to log it and check the lambda readings

I'm really light footed, and I think really far ahead so I don't do much pointless acceleration, or much braking, and so on.
- I don't drive like a granny tho! I promise!

My aim is to get 50- but I think realistically I would need to drive at the dead of night when no cars were about and do 5mph.- but that would be cheating ;P

The S3 has 260bhp from standard :)
330bhp ED30? That's with plenty of modifications I pressume, the S3 can achieve 300bhp+ with a straight forward stage 1 map but they are heavy cars so I can understand why the fuel economy is shocking.

the S3 is much to heavy for its own good sometimes. poor boy went from a diesel to that, so his current fuel consumption is gastly to him haha
lucky he works in a petrol station!

currently Jacks golf is over 300bhp, since a Stage 1 remap and a twintake last month. which is an impressive gain for very little work. i wish our polos were that tuneable!

Re: Verity's Reflex Silver GTI - Red Grill Trim

28.5.11 - Red Grill Trim

For the past few years I've been buying the red trim off eBay. The last one I brought was a few months ago was £2.99, then the next day they went down to £1.99 (grrr) anyway went to buy a new one a few months back and they had gone up to £4.99!! I really didnt want to fork out a fiver for something that fades after a few months :x

So i decided to try out the Halfords tape as Id seen this in a few photos and it always looked great. so there I sat in my room, with my hairdryer and grill. putting it on perfect. stuck the grill back on the car, and by the afternoon Id pulled it off lol. i dont know why but it just didnt seem right. which was a shame.

Then I met up with a local chap with a gorgeous Lupo GTI. His red Trim looked amazing, so I ended up buying one from the same guy he got it from.

They are a bit thicker then the ones off eBay, which I prefer. and they are also Made in Germany, and as an Old Lady I served the other day said "ooohh, this is made in Germany, they make good stuff, those Germans". So in hoping itll last a lot longer.
Would deffinatly recommend it so far!!

Excuse the Silicone! I need to neaten it all up, but cant bring myself to do it yet. haha lazy!
