After tests I found that HBA has only a weakness, it not active high beam flash automatically when the oncoming cars are permanently with high beams switched on because probably the drivers are writing a whatsapp and they don't have HBA...

hehe! :P
Do you have already solved the small problem with 6C climatronic?
What about Discover Media? What do you think? I think it will be even more difficult to install, and at the moment I prefer my RNS510.Image

Have you looked at the new MIB units that are being fitted in cars like the Beetle and Jetta? They're the same shape as the ones fitted in the 6r, and I don't know if they're self-contained units or if they have the separate units in the glovebox like the 6c. The CD player is certainly in the dash, not the glove box, in the Beetles!

They are detected both by the gateway :)
Discovery media works but i need to get some Parts (new camera, different antenna amplifier for dab, SD card) and my dealer will activate it this weekend if all goes well.
Then I probably need to adapt the channels for MFA+ etc.

The 6c climatronic works perfectly. Simply change the connector but pin layout stays the same. I think no 6c has auxiliary heating and therefore it doesn't work with 6C climatronic (at least there is no 6c in etka with aux heater)

Yesterday were the last road tests of the HBA system on VW POLO 6R, now I can say "it works like a charm".
Thank you very much to everyone who made it possible for me to get this fantastic point of happiness.

Happiness ... a subjective feeling of well-being.

My special thanks to Volkswagen and uk-polos.net

Hi ciclo!

Just curious, how come you have the separate engine temperature and fuel meter in your dashboard? Havent seen any 6R 1.2 TSI 90 here that got it. Have you replaced the whole dashboard aswell or is it an option from the manufacturer when you buy the car?

I would like to thank your arms. For always being on your side.
And your legs. For always supporting you.
Don't forget your hairs. They were always on top of your mind.
And of course your fingers. You could always Count on them.

Further News! HBA with the 1K8 mirror update. Changed the Adaptation channel 53 to 1. And guess what!
Nothing happened...

Congrations for the working HBA

I just have a small question- I'll pick up a Golf 7 R steering Wheel at the Weekend, and i want to retrofit it into my Polo 6R. My Polo hasn't any Multifunction Wheel yet, but the new Wheel has it  Can you tell me, what i have to do? I have a 2011 (B) TDI, with a "big" BCM (i have Xenon, for example).

Thanks, Chris 8)
