How much weight have you lost in the back by stripping out the seats mate?

Did you weigh them?

Well i didnt weigh em i just took them out to get the look i wanted and then went another way with the car but i cant carry the seats all on my own and im not small so yeah a fair bit of weight i would im agin but nothing ya can notice massivley............

Doesnt really suit the car either the whole stripped out thing now, yeah maybe a civic with a decent 1.6 lump with 190bhp standard but not our fully loaded machines..............

Little update is as follow,

All my interior is out even passenger seat and is now with the trimmers...............

Have no idea what there called or what they are off tbh. there vw stamped tho and made in germany so must be vw lol!

Will be remapping when iv had my pro alloy intake pipe fabricated and il spray that crinkle red or black, once that is done and me sensors fitted for me exhaust it'l go down and be done but thats my last thing to be done,

Altho i did these today wich i think may be a first i dunno lol......

The wheels are VW Estorils dude.Pretty old school think they came on the older corrado's.

I like what you have done with the door handles mate but the grey looks a little out of place now.
I reckon they would look better if you finished the grey inserts in Matt black or Carbon wrapped them.

I agree with Ben, the handle inserts need to be black. They look a bit weird. I've seen it done before too on this forum. I wanna eventually do it with my handles.

Cant have fake carbon in me car thats way to out of place with red leather it would be even worse than matt black me thinks, was gona try and wrap them in matt red like my leather but the mirror adjustment may kick up issues as that'd be a bugger so i might leave them, as im doing my handles on the roof and all the uva headlining oem cream matt black so might leave em.......... They are black tho just matt black looks grey, put some silicon on them handle inserts n watch them go black

I think the red would look cool tbh, especially if you could match it with the red leather seats.
Red vinyl would probably look just as good if you could get the colour right.

Well my leather seats are all done and im SUPER CHUFFED.......................Heres the rear bench until monday wen he brings the others over for me. And my door cards, Leather is from italy and is off the highest quality as its my daily i wanted some decent leather.

Cant get a decent pic of the colour of the red but you get the idea. Also had a play with the tweeter covers on the A Pillar and the seat belt covers matt, bit off gloss and why not.......
