If you re referring to the small button below the B pillar next to the driver’s seat; then the button is to deactivate the interior monitoring & leveling system: in the event you want to leave animal (movements) inside ur car and lock or when you want to tow your car.

Unfortunately there’s nothing more than just sitting in the car and swapping the cluster. The tech guy in the dealership was doing his job with his official tool. 0-0 means there are no key information and nothing match. The end result will be 2-2 for 2 keys.

btw in the meantime, i did the first try run to modified eeprom with reference to information from firegrafik post in drive2.ru. after the eeprom mod, cluster staging works immediately without the need to change adaptation channel. interestingly, both channels (staging and indicator celebration) still not available. I think this has to do with the led backlighting which is still not light up while “staging”. maybe there’s another byte to change.

I think the backlight should keep turned off while the needles are being checked.

Oh yes Ciclo. I'm sorry i was referring to the needle backlight. Not the speedo/rpm backlight. Not sure if the modified eeprom will be different in coding for highline MFD (as firegrafik post) because i did the mod with my old cluster. The new cluster already have the adaptation channel.

so to enable this gra high function really needs the physical hardway to alter the software or this is for research that could bring the code for us with vcds?
