Golf 7.5 OEM LED light in front storage compartment. 'Images'.

I took some images of the light emitted by the LED light that I installed in the front storage compartment, but as you all know it is very difficult to obtain a clear image of a dim light (ambient) if it is taken with a smartphone.
The light emitted from this ambient light is exactly the same as the light emitted by the OEM footwell lights in ambient light mode. It looks perfect in the real world, without extridencies.

Like the ambient lights, increase and decrease the brightness with the menu for the instruments and lights of switches.

My intention is to show that there are no light leaks if the compartment is closed.

It looks a bit yellowish in these pictures, but I promise it's white, exactly like the LED footwell lights.

Is the light that you show connected on the footwell lights? Or it is on its own zone, as the similar light on Tiguan?

It is connected to the wire for the LED light that I installed in the 12V socket on the center console, as you can see in the links.

This signal is '58xs dimmer' which is the same signal I use to illuminate the footwell lights in ambient lights mode, as you can see here: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=72376&start=120#p573840

BSD+RTA and PLA 3.0 are destined to be installed at the end of this fast-paced and exciting summer of mods at my wife's Golf. Between this week and the next they will already be installed... when my time permits. All indoor wiring for BSD and PLA is already installed.

I decided that mods on the bumpers would be the last thing I would do, as I previously removed the bumpers to install the Replica LED headlights (MORIMOTO LEDS ) and other things, that is, I saved the easy part for last.

Once we have crimped the appropriate terminals, we install everything in reverse order. In other words, I did not take more images because they are very simple tasks.

The following video shows how the wiring for Park Aid (8K) is factory installed in the front bumper, in which you can see the marks to install the two side sensors for Park Assist Steering (12K) and the tabs that will hold the new wiring.

It is not about showing off the work done, it is that the result is simply excellent.
The original VW cutting tool is the key... it's not easy to get, at least for me it wasn't, and at first I thought it was outrageously expensive.
But you know, the results tell when something is expensive or cheap.

The original VW cutting tool for the front sensors I installed on the 6R is quite a bit cheaper, ...the results were also excellent.

The OEM VW cutting tool for normal sensors is only about 25 euros, I have one myself and it had already earned itself back.
I recommend it to everyone that wants to install PDC sensors, it will save you a lot of paint chips.

I can only imagine installing PLA sensors, never did it, but I have no doubt I'd buy the OEM tool too.
