You'll find the 195s scrub if you drop too low when you get your coilovers. Bridgestone 165/50s will never scrub!

165/50 looks sweet on the 6N2. It's a safe stretch also. I've got 165/50s on my Cups.

Awesome tim! My lensos were the same size rim and same size tyres and I think they were ok. Plus the offset is slightly lower on the cups so they should stick out more. I would luv to get stretch tyres but the closest person I know who does it is styledynamix and they are an hour drive away. Or can anyone stretch a 165 50 tyre onto my rims. Also how would a 165 45 look on the cups?

164/45 would look sick. It's a bit far though. For show cars it's alright, but I wouldn't use them for daily.
Loads of places stretch tyres round mine, I'd imagine it would be the same for you.
Ask around, see who does what. You'd be surprised, it's not much of a specialist job (not that small stretch anyhow).
Double check they are up for the job though, and won't mess you about. I took mine to the nearest fitting station (8s on 195/45) and they scuffed them and refused to take the blame. Proper pirates.

you fitted the cups yet!? I wanna see em!
Re: Raz 1.4 TDI Progress thread *New Wheels*
Not yet dude. I thought I'll get the coilovers, fit them and then put the wheels on. But the coilovers are being delayed from DPM performance website. The guy said they are coming direct from Germany so hopefully all should go well before inters!

ok mate, what coilovers are you getting. My JOM's should be arriving this week
Re: Raz 1.4 TDI Progress thread *New Wheels*
I blew the piggy bank on mine. Weitec hicon GT. I had raceland/hottuning/ta technix ones last year and they were too harsh but I liked that you could drop them 120mm on the frontsJosh_6n2_Polo wrote:ok mate, what coilovers are you getting. My JOM's should be arriving this week

HeHe yeah ive heard a lot of good stuff about them coilovers. Hmm i hope the JOM's are okay but it says their lowest they go is 80mm but i think it's 120mm im not too sure. Did you only find the ride harsh because of your back?
Re: Raz 1.4 TDI Progress thread *New Wheels*
yeah i was getting chiropracter therapy at the same time i had my coilovers and as soon as i took the coilovers off , my back started to get better. but now im okay
Re: Raz 1.4 TDI Progress thread *New Wheels*
Coilovers have been delayed big time from weitec! ordered last monday and they arent here yet. They are waiting for some parts to arrive and then will send them out directly to me. So they wont be put on before inters
BUT not to worry because ill have them all ready for the next show!

Re: Raz 1.4 TDI Progress thread *New Wheels*
that sucks dude, i hate waiting for stuff to get delivered!
Re: Raz 1.4 TDI Progress thread *New Wheels*
i know.. I even called up venom, awesome gti and 2 more other companies and they all said its gonna take 5 - 7 days because they will come direct from weitec in germany.. So i just kept the order that i placed with DPM performance and just see what happens .. But im still gonna put on the ats cups just for the show but the car is gonna be sky high off the ground loll..Tim_GTi wrote:that sucks dude, i hate waiting for stuff to get delivered!

The front part of my headliner, just above the Passenger seat starts to come off on hot days. I think I mightve used the wrong glue. Does anyone know a better glue I can use as I'm gonna do it again. The abc pillars are ok though
