Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - FOG HELP PLEASE (pg 1
Today was a busy one.
8:15am Autoglass ring me, there has been a cancellation they can do my windscreen 1st thing will be with me by 9.
So i rush down my breakfast, smile at my old man to use his car once again to get down to my grans (moved the car to there after my cracking time).
Get there had a cup of tea(I needed it) and waited for the autoglass man, only for my sister to ring me a 5 past 9 to say that autoglass had just rang to say the replacement they had for me also had a crack in it and it was the only one they had, so it would have to be monday after all.
So I though right go home get all the stuff I need to fit my fogs, So after doing a few diy jobs for my gran I got started on the fogs.
I found the wires ok and removed them from the bodywork, only to find out I could remove them from the blank, so home I come again. Came on here and lucky enough Mr Alex Perkins was online and told me how to do it (Thank you Alex).
So back down to my grans once again and after a little bit of time this happened.

Then this

Only prob is there is a little gap between the fog and the grill as seen in the pic below

Are they ment to be like that ? or is anyone elses ? any tips to get a better fit?
Sorry for the loooooooooooooooooooong Post.
Feel free to laugh and comment as you wish.

Looks well
really makes a difference to the front end. A GTI splitter will finish that off nicely

Re: Cornishdrummer's Progress Thread - TODAY (pg 14)
New windscreen in.

6n mirror fitted

Sorry about the reflection in the pics.
But the bad news is
I scuffed my front bumper

What is the best way to fix this as, I have a few other scuffs on my rear bumper as well.
Also
On my headlineing I think the brownish stuff is glue from the windscreen, whats the best way to get rid of that as well.
Thanks
