Hi Ciclo,

Just quick question.

I bought the aftermarket headlight and installed onto my car, but the lights came out pretty dim.

So i saw your fuse box from your polo, the head light fuse is 15. have you change to 10 to 15? also do you know any issues from my car? dim light.

Thanks.

Thats not really how a fuse works :p
The current through the fuse is only determined by the light bulb. If the light bulb is too powerful and will need more than 10A (10A on 12V is 120W!), then the fuse blows. But adding a larger fuse doesn't make it brighter

Hello akira8792. Welcome to the forum.

Please, can you show us the headlights that you installed? Do you have a link?

Hello, Fernando!
First of all let me say thank you for reports of all your mods.
Now I follow you to release HighBeamAssist. And I've already got the 7E0 mirror.
Could you please clarify for mirror's connection?
The mirror's connector has 7 pins (T8c/7 is empty). On your diagram only 5 pins is being used. Coud you explain what is the function of T8c/4 and T8c/5 pins? Thank you for your answer.

Hi firegrafik. Welcome. Glad to see you here. 8)
In Polo 6R or in Transporter T6 the 4-5 slots are not used.

In other Volkswagen models they are used for anti-dazzling exterior mirrors. Scirocco, Golf, etc...
Wires from 4-5 slots communicate with J386 driver door control unit in this models.

If this were possible in 6r I already would have done, but there is no anti-dazzling exterior mirrors for Polo 6R or 6C in all its versions, including Sedan.

There is a nice tutorial in Japanese of this adaptation in a Golf VI.

Hello, iichel!
I've understood, those pins aren't used. But if the pins are present in the connector, so I just wondered what them for.

I supposed, that those for external anti-dazzling mirrors, but was not sure if there are both pins are being used for that.
Thanks Ciclo, for clarifying.

Fernando, thank you for your helpfulness. Unfortunately nikbyte is not the Polo owner anymore. Now he owns BMW. Nevertheless there are many other "crazy polo moders" in Russia.
Look forward for you report with managing CCS by the MFSW.
It could be great if you spare some your mods on https://www.drive.com/ also. It is international form of the site. The https://www.drive2.ru/ is site form for Russian users. It will be auto-translation of your reports for Russian users, and you could read the our reports.

PS I know some people who sell the new max BCM 7E0937090. If convert the price it could be not more than €150 (incl shipping). So if you or your friends need it I could help.
Regards, Alexander

It is an excellent offer.Image
I paid more than double, however I'm very happy with the improvement.
