Send me some pics over mate, pm :)

Ideally you're best off going to someone who has a written off GTI airbags blown, buying the gear stick, steering wheel without airbag, check the seatbelts if the pretensioners are shagged.

Right- I have managed to get hold of a complete steering column off a 6n2- so thats wheel, airbag, stalks etc-- i wonder if the whole column will swap out as easy as just the wheel???

any ideas??

PS- only paid 60 quid for the whole thing! :-)

I don't see why not, but why would you want to swap out the whole lot? I think they are the same from the front?

Yeah I've got the tinted glass out of the passenger rear door and i've got a whole new door (with tint) to put on the drivers side rear. Spoiler looks really good, very GTi theme. More pics coming soon when i've taken all the tape and wired it up, lets hope it stays on!

Also put in LED white rear numberplate bulbs too (sidelight fitment btw) so the plate lights up white too which is pretty cool.

Cheers Tim, thats the old door still and i've yet to change the hinges over. I've put the coloured door handle on the new door ready for transfer etc so its just a case of when I can find the time to get the hinges off this door and put them on the new one :)
