Thanks for the comments guys :) only reason i didnt do the W8 passat light mod, is because i have a sunroof and it wont fit properly. So i thought this would be a decent equivalent :)

Thanks Verity :)

No no, they are LED bulb holders from maplins :) Yeah fingers crossed they are going to work! I am a bit concerned they will be too bright, but if thats the case then i will put some resistors in to dull them down :)

Got a few updates coming up :D

Have ordered a 9n3 handbrake with the red stitching so it matches the gear gaiter :D

Im getting my rear windows tinted next weekend 65% 8)

And my red LED lights that glow onto the gearstick should be finished next week at some point.

Will post pictures up when its all done and fitted :)

Does the 9n3 gti fit as a complete unit or is it more involved than that I was gona get mine trimmed but heard others fitting there ones on the 9n3????

Fits as a complete unit mate :) just a simple case of removing the old one and replacing it with the new one. You need to swap the chrome buttons over apparently, and it may require a slight trim at the bottom so it fits properly when the handbrake is on/off :)
