My Kufatec kit works just fine. Only thing is that my rear foglight doesn't work anymore. But didn't ever use that anyway so made to reverselights instead.

Perfect, do not worry, everything will work correctly. I have checked on several VW POLO 6R with different BCM.
I've updated the post. Now it is better. Read at the end in coding with VCDS.

Positive. Fused always.
Negative. Ground.
ciclo, I need some help here. How did you wire the positive terminal? I mean where did you connect it to? You have encircled the purple fuse (3A) but how did you wire it to that terminal?

That looks like something only a qualified DIY guy like you, could do. Not definitely me.
Can it be tapped from the glovebox? Or how about the cabin light itself?
The cabin light has 3 terminals. I believe that one is for ground, one is for the door activation (close/open) signal and the other is for the 12V. I am thinking of tapping it to the 12V terminal so it remains ON permanently.
We could screw the other to the ground/body.

Pin assignment on the cabin lights. Dome.
1 - Brown/Black: ground to lights work with the opening/closing door.
2 - Red/Black: positive (+30)
3 - Brown: ground.
You can see numbered on the connector or socket.
