Re: Trotta's progress thread *NEW WHEELS, MORE INTERIOR PICS
Well alittle update for everyone.
INTERIOR. finally got it back and its all fitted and looks the buisness in my opinion, just gona wait til the begining of next year when the weather is better and have my carpet done properly this time in thick black or dark grey.
Had to rescue my trimmer as he broke down so towed him to a kwik fit and all was good and he let me off 300quid in the end so my whole car was £1500 quid and he is doing me carpet cheap for me aswell so should be fun.
Pics of me interior all done

And for me new alloys im going to spray them as i cba to keep polishing them all the time so a nice solid colour bmw grey and im going to pick out the twist and outline them with a red pin stripe........ And talking of pin stripe i orderd a load of bits like new gti grill piping, sidelights, chrome indicator bulbs, new center badges for my winters.

And the repair on my car from the insurance was ok aswell, il have to flat and polish in the summer as its peely but yeah a good job as i said it had to be or else as im a sprayer lol........ Update done, what ya think????????????????/
Next on my list is as follows.
1. New mk5 gti golf steering wheel
2. New mk5 golf handbrake cover
3. New carpet
4. Sound system to be fitted at Audiofile
5. New manifold back hidden exhaust from Pipecraft in Bishops stortford.
6. Port and polished and engine upgrades ie, cams etc if the price is wright.
7. ENJOY THE CAR AND WIN TROPHEYS.........

Looks Great Craig
Can't wait to see what the whole car will look like when your finished with it and as Bradley said its nice to still see people spending good money on their GTI's. I would probably go for Black carpet just to tie in with door handles, steering wheel and your other gloss black bits.
New Manifold did I hear you mention? 4-2-1 seems to be pretty restrictive, 4-1 is where its at

I wasn't too sure on the interior to start with but love it now.
The rear door cards look tidy. Impressed.
I'm not too sure on the carpet colour tho. thats just my opinion, the red is too much.
