skipster wrote:Glad you are pleased with the car! Is it manual or DSG? Reason for the boot space having 'shrunk' is because of the battery taking up the space in the lower 'tier'. I am guessing anyway that the battery is located here similar to the current 6R Polo (1.4).
I got the DSG. Actually the first time I've driven a DSG. Thanks for the info on the boot!

Brilliant! Really pleased for you, have fun.
Have you got the 'sport button' on it?
Unfortunately not

. That was the one option that the dealer didn't fit on their car. Although it still sounds great! Would be interesting to see how much difference the sport button actually makes.

Hi,
When did you order?. I ordered 22nd December and still waiting. Showing In Transit at the moment.

My situation was slightly different. I bought a car that the dealer had already ordered and originally planned to have in the showroom. So when I put down a deposit at the end of Jan, the car already had a build week confirmed.
You must be excited now! It'll take about a month for the car to reach you once it's left the factory.

Ordered mine on 17th Jan and it only updated to reflect build week being confirmed last week. However, dealer had told me that info about 3 weeks beforehand.
In short, other than having some cute animated graphics, the tracker isn't much use.
Same haopened to me. Dealer said its not done on the same database which is a bit stupid if true.

Can't help myself. I have been informed that there is a red GTI at the Listers dealership in Stratford upon Avon. Looks a basic spec but I'm going to have a peek.

Praise the Lord ...I've touched one!
Loving the wheels...The high gloss black in them is cool.
Also a convert to the red stripe into the lights as it accents again slightly behind the individual led units....so balances it out.
For me I'm pleased I went for the sunroof as the black will compliment the wheel inserts and black rear spoiler.
Even though the tartan fabric is the same design I can see they have used a more robust looking fabric so looks good.
Will post some pics later.
Like a terrier dog raring to go. Can't wait.

Great pics. Shows the red going into the lights and then accented behind the LED units very well. I'm a convert to them now that I've seen them up close and personal.
Enjoy!!
