On another subject the remote central locking has been fixed but I will have a new body control switch (?) fitted next week.

Just given her a second clean, been a while as the weather has been crap, I don't live near any trees but this car seems to collect debris in the scuttle panel and water channels that take water away from the engine bay. Just pulled out a handful of decaying leaves.

My last car was a TT on 18s and I still reckon the Polo is a firmer ride than that. I do miss the quattro element of it though!!

I guess it depends how you're funding the car? If it's a PCP deal, I'd try to get the car asap as the balloon payment won't be affected by the date of registration, but if you're paying cash or hire purchase finance, might be best to hold off until March as a '16 plate will be worth more come trade-in time.

Gave the car a much needed wash after a months dirt. Applied some Angelwax H2go to the widows too.

Cheers, first time I've used it. I put 2 applications on screen. Did have to buff again with fresh microfibre as noticed it had left a few smears wen the sun hit it. Nice an clear now.

Well mine went back in to have the radio looked at again

There putting a new unit in but I doubt that will help.

Also the courtesy polo blue motion seems to drink fuel lol

Perhaps yeah, even better! Potentially even a 2015 delivery if they're quick enough but imagine with Christmas in the way it may be very early Jan. Not long now!

My car came off the City of Sunderland at Grimsby on 9th and my dealer will deliver to me on 21st. Can't wait!

My wife agrees that the polo is harder than the TT so what do I know! The ST was bouncier at slowish speeds than the Polo and I don't have the sport setting.

I'm assuming my car came of City of Sunderland last night/this morning too, but I've not received an update from VW yet. Going to phone the dealer tomorrow and see if he has access to any more info.

Ask them to pick it up and not use a transporter, thats what I've done and they said it should be slightly quicker. (also ordered from Grimsby )
