Replaced my spare tyre with this (to balance out the weight of the sub box Rolling Eyes )
Is the sub really that heavy then?
I will think twice about getting one then :)

Yeah the sub on it's own is a good 7-10kg I reckon + the box I think it's probably a good 15kg
pip_polo wrote: you had this bracket when i saw it 8)

you modified it a bit then?

looks cool.

if i had this car i would get the exact same wheels done black for winter 8)
Yup got the angle grinder out, to shorten the bolts a bit and then sprayed it black because it just looked stupid in silver 8)

Oh and I already have some winter wheels, look a couple of pages back, I'm just in the process of sorting tyres out asap as my polished ones are getting battered in this weather :(

Cheers James definately the best looking aerial, I never listen to the radio so the shorter the better :)
Tim_GTi wrote:Numberplate bracket is a great idea!! I think you should go for all red on the lights 8)
It's what I'm swaying towards... All reds, Also thinking of swapping sidelight + brakelights, so the led's are brake lights rather than sidelights.

Thanks for the comments everyone! :D

Update: Lowered the car a fair bit more and slapped my winter wheels on with brand new 195/45/14 Falkens, You can see what it looks like if you come down to the DubClique meet  :P

Well first week of having the aerial on, some diseased bellend decided it was too good for my car and it would look better on his f*****g french crap. Not happy  Lucky I got sent two though!!

Yup, I was more pissed off that someone had the balls to touch my car!!
I have another so it's not so bad, I'll only be sticking it on for meets/shows or where I know it going to be safe!

Cheers for that mate!! I'm going to be honest though, I don't think the wire for the aerial is even plugged into my HU  Thanks though!

If you have a look at the grill closely you will see that there are 2 sort of sections of plastic evenly spaced behind the honeycomb and I've fixed the bracket to that!

Thanks for the kind words everyone! really appreciated! :D

So you took the front bumper off, put some plastic behind, and sandwiched the grill between that plastic and the brackets with screws?

Nope, A lot simpler than that! You'll have to have a closer look at your grill mate! then you'll be able to see what I mean. There are three evenly spaced stripes of plastic behind the honeycomb....
