Pretty rubbish update
Car went into the local vag specialist garage this week to look at the rev counter.
When it was there i also got him to look at why my engine warning light was on. It came on over xmas for a couple days then went away, it first came on when i was driving down a country road after we had all the snow most of the snow had been shifted by cars driving on it but there was a small section running down the center which had started to turn to ice. Was going about 20mph and sounded like driving on stones. Then heard a bit of a bang underneath and the light came on, parked up and had a look underneath fearing the worst, but saw no damage or any oil leaking (expecting to have damaged the sump!) waiting 5 minutes then carried on.
It went away the next day but has since been on occasionally and for the last few days stayed on constantly.
He believes its either the rear lamda sensor (£150) or more than likely the cat, which he quoted me £400 to repair
Anyone had this?

Lamba sensor more than likely I took mine out for the Decat then the light came on strait away,
If it's the cat just loose it mate. Sod the 400quid bill for no reason, sounds like he's trying to get money out of ya...

A little bit, it rubs a bit to much really, not to much maybe 10mm all round and see if that improves it.

10mm is for wimps lol...
20mm up front and 25mm rear boys....
Big time poke and yes the scrubbing is silly on winter tyres but stretched summers is fine.

Mine is going down once I get my new exhaust fitted
I dont want to go too low though, scrubbing is a nightmare at times.
Plus the state of the UK roads are in is just depressing
Hope you get the lamba problem sorted soon mate
