iichel wrote:the leaving home leaving home with the current bcm.. i think it will work through the fog lights but not trough dipped beam. since the fogs are now bcm-controlled (cornering lights). you do need the RLS, of course.
coming home will require a toggle of the high beam stick.

the extra 2 wires to the instrument will replace the old powertrain can wires. they make the new can network that is required for the IC.
i'm not familiar with any new functions in the IC, but i think it will not be the case.

OEM front and rear PDC will not be a problem. use the module from example from a golf 6 or a transporter t6. (8K parkhilfe from PQ25 or PQ35)
Hello iichel thanks for your repply,

Sure it will not work through dipped light as they are feed directly over the light switch now. So if we code BCM to work with the fogs this should not be an issue. The high beam toggling is an option for coming home but what about home leaving?? Or is it remembered by the unit and if CH is activated then LH will work also?

Regarding the KI options I meant something like this…

So basically from the change I can only get automatic lights hmm not sure if that’s worth it. What about something more advanced like adaptive cruise control from the T6?? 8)
ACC, I'm afraid that would have to change the ABS unit for this.
If no one does it is impossible to know whether it is possible or not ...
However, maybe you are one of the lucky few who can get a modification on cruise control. 'GRA high'
I read that a Swedish succeeded CCD in a Skoda Roomster 1.2 TSI DSG.
Try the following:
17 Address; Adaptation--> Cruise control display ---> active
Please if you get show us a video like this of its performance.
JapFan wrote:
What for are the 2 wires for the instruments? Will I be able then to modify adaptation channels from the KI menu? Like rain closing or turning on and off CH LH and other functions like in Golf or Octavia?
The new CAN BUS line (instrument) is required with the BCMs Max for our car models. The internal Gateway does the rest.
You get nothing in the MFA+ like in Golf or Octavia, ... at the moment...
VW Fox (Brasil) and family models :) with BCM PQ25 have some of these functions you mention in MFA+. (I-system)
JapFan wrote: If I decide to remain with my current BCM and install RLS do you think I can get at least CH LH working?
NO
JapFan wrote: Sure could by a wrong label from ross tech nothing new.
The label is fine. Perhaps there should be a minilabel for BCM PQ25 085 086 087 ...Image
JapFan wrote: But I see also live adaptation channels are active for the CH LV times so the BCM should support the function or?
087 BCM not support CH/LH, Autolights in any way.

Hello ciclo,

Changing BCM and ABS starting to get expensive… :( Do you know which ABS part number would be needed for AAC? But even if I would change it I am not sure it would or how it would register on the IC. And if I would be able to turn in on or off :D

GRA high is nothing new my friend had it on his old roomster from factory MY maybe 2007-8. Problem is even if your IC is supporting it your engine control unit needs to support it as well. Some people had it from factory on Fabia then they got a FW update for the engine CU for some issue and the GRA was gone from maxi dot…

I tried already to enable it on both my Skodas but

Did you upgrade a BT WiFi hotspot already to your Polo??

Or a TV tuner should be also possible also for Roomster...

It is impossible to find a more false leather... but it is better than the standard tissue.

It's cheap and useful.

If the ACC were possible, I would start looking in VW T6 brake system.
I do not need BT wifi in my 6R, neither TV, but many thanks for the info, it is very interesting. 8)

If I were a genius would have not forgotten the security code for you. :) You do not need any security code, I repeat it all times you want.

I had lucky with the folding mirrors, these codings will not work for your car.
