True, when did you get your "in transit" notification?
Notification of 5a in Transit on 6th April

Yes it doesn't make sense. My order date was January 2018 not 2019 so perhaps they believe I have waited (as others) long enough.

Probably the last thing I wanted to see today, but a grey 2018 Gti overtook me earlier near RAF Wittering.

I've been watching activity from Emden and thee is no regular pattern.
I convinced myself that a particular ship was doing shuttle runs between Emden and Sheerness.
Today, that all changed and it left Sheerness for Zeebrugge, completely breaking that pattern.

Another ship that I had not seen referenced in either port traveled from Emden to Sheerness overnight.
It's almost impossible to really know what vessels to track beyond Emden.
There's also no telling how many vehicles back in the queue your vehicle will be either.

Very frustrating.

The only one I'm aware of that does the run is the Malacca Highway, approx 3 days for a return trip Emden/Sheerness/Emden

That was the one that changed pattern today and is now heading for Immingham.
The unexpected Emden to Sheerness vessel was the Danube Highway which is now headed for somewhere else.

Hopefully they speed up the production lines up to get the order books down a bit.
There will probably be a new model out by the time I and a lot of others take delivery of their vehicles
If that happened I would expect a good discount on the model.

Many didn't realise that after ordering a car they'd become an expert in maritime traffic. [emoji6]
