9times out of 10 Vw's parts are the same and available from gsf unless it is a pattern part most Bosch stuff etc from gsf is what Vw use anyway. Vw just like to rape you

GSF switches and senders are no longer made by the people who make VWs - they use cheaper manufacturers such as topran for their parts rathern than ELTH
I agree with trunkz - if its a switch or a sender, always get genuine VW from TPS. Its a few quid more, but well worth it.

Hasn't happened again since. It was raining heavily at the time, if that makes any difference?

The oil pressure light has only come on once since I last mentioned it... The car had been sitting for a few days not doing anything and I redlined it in first gear pretty much instantly (yep, not a good idea at all). The light came on and beeped at me, eased off and It hasn't happened since and that was maybe 200 miles ago now.
With regards to the whole car, I have a couple of small updates coming soon that I'll get posted up here as soon as I can. Still in the lowering dilemma and seriously considering Eibach Sportline Springs.
Hope to get the wheels off for winter and some G60's on in a couple of months and get the RXII's refurbed up over winter. Unfortunately they're starting to bubble and corrode a little again

I blame my lack of care for them during last winter.
An upgrade on the brakes is yet to come, whether it be drilled and grooved discs or an upgrade to G60 discs. Topped off with a BMC and a few minor interior parts and I should be done and I hope to just enjoy the car then

My TT Pedals arrived today... the accelerator doesn't fit (I bought the RHD one) so I'm going to have to buy the LHD one. Clutch and Brake fit perfect though and look great as they are though

I believe none of the accelerator pedals are a straight fit Nigel, Everyone i know who has fitted them has had to put a bit of glue/ silicone to hold if down correctly.

The RHD one is just way too small though... I can't see any way I could get it to fit.

Yeah I was told to get the LHD one. Which is slightly bigger. Those pedal were such a b***h to get on. I even maybe shed a tear.
I put a little bit of silicone adhesive behind my accelerator pedal to keep it in place.

The RHD one fits snugly if you trim the back rubber carefully!
