Thanks for the reminder pictures Ben! Haha, they've made me want them more now!
I don't know whether they will be too big for how low I want the car sitting but I'm going to have a think.
They look fantastic on though

I might just buy them so I can look at them lol
I'm still in two minds, will be in touch after xmas if you still have them and I've decided what to do

Yeah thats find Mandy

no problem at all
I will still have them after Xmas so have a good think and let me know.
The actual size of the wheel doesnt really make too much difference in terms of lowering because the tyre size compensates for the extra inch of wheel diameter but the only downside to these wheels is they are only 6.5J so spacers are a MUST if you want the down 'n' out look
Running stretched tyres like 165's on a 16" wheel would probably cause issues too but IMO the 6N2 looks immense with 16" wheels, just depends how low you want to go.
Wheels are in very good condition though as they were refurbished in 2009, they are showing some wear/minor corrosion where the two rims join but thats unfortunately unavoidable with split rims, especially RXII's. That's just me being mega critical though, on the car its literally not noticeable but I always like to be honest.
They cost me £525 in 2009 with no tyres, Centre Caps were £35 as they are genuine BBS and the Valve caps were £15.00.
Tyres retail at £70-75 a piece so I think £500 is a fair price, 1 tyre is brand new and the other 3 have covered very few miles so have thousands of road miles left in them
I have the original 15" RXII's available too but they are in a sorry state and do require a full refurb, they dont have any Tyres either so I could let you have them for £150 delivered if you were interested?
Sorry about the essay lol
Ben

If you got the four stud 6.5 16's and combined them with the 7" mk3 anni barrels then you get a pimp set of wheels.
Of course if you do this you could wake up Easter Sunday morning to find a car on bricks.

that was a bad time.

I am definately tempted by the 15" RXIIs just for the craic for that price! Dave is awesome and will sort them out no bother!!! I would pay more though (coz I like you lol)

........ Have you got any pics? The worse the better! So we know the work involved
I think the car looks the absolute nuts on the 16"s!!!! Gutted I didnt buy them with the car, although I know it was short notice.... Deciding at 11:00 on the Sunday morning that I HAD to go to Wales for this car! And it already had the G60s on lol..... I didn't even need to get out the car, I knew I needed to have it as soon as we pulled up!

Yeah that Sunday was a mad day lol
I was on a Honda Civic & Integra Type R meet in Mid wales and my bro rang me up and said you were on your way
Dave had emailed me a few weeks earlier through pistonheads so when he said you were coming from Newcastle I did think it was him because he said you already had a 1.0 6N2 but you were looking to upgrade
I was Gutted to see it go but really pleased that it went to a good home, I saw your face light up when you were walking down the drive so I knew you were going to have it
£150 will be fine for the 15" wheels Mandy, i'll get you some pics this weekend so you can see them in detail.
There are no curb marks or chips the only thing that needs sorting is the outer lips, the centre's will also need respraying but they are a very good straight set of wheels, they just need some TLC and elbow grease to get them looking mint.
As they have no tyres and need a refurb I dont think it would be fair to ask more than £150.
Sounds lazy on my part but now the car has gone I havent really got the effort to spend time & money getting them looking good just to then sell them on lol
I'll get you some pictures this weekend

Well, I've been playing with some 3M Carbon Wrap today. This handle was just a practice but I don't think it's too bad for a first attempt!..... Put my hairdryer to good use too
I will be re-doing this and the other one now that I know how to do it lol. Some pics for now though.
While the door cards are off I will be:
- Fitting the green LEDs in the inner handles
- Fitting some new speakers
- Fixing the driver side window switch because the window keeps getting stuck in the door lol...... Nearly died after putting the window down to pay to get through the Tyne Tunnel, then not being able to get it back up..... Resulting in me breathing in the fumes all the way through haha
More to follow over the next few weeks, nearly there!

Sounds good to me, all about doing the window switches aswell! Think the inner handles should be a different color like black or even green lol!
How you doing the lights in the handle aswell?

Yeah i was looking at the window switches before and thinking they would look good done aswell. This was just a practice one so its being taken off and re-started anyway, i could do the inner bits black like.
I have no idea how the leds are being done lol. I'll leave that in the bf's capable hands! Lol

Spare switches, check.
Upgraded speakers, check.
Spare headlining to retrim black ? check.
You should definately check out the sale thread of Rich, you're all local and everything.
I'll even undercut Panda on the cupholder and stash box.
