I installed Polo 6C LED headlights on my Polo 6R sedan. But my BCM's full number 7E0937090ZHH it has EEPROM preset for Russian Polo 6R sedan with RLS and bixenon.
So in DRL mode the LED-DRL has full brightness (as it should be). But in parking-lights mode it should be dimmed but it gets off at all. I need to find the EEPROM from the T6 BCM first of all.

Signal from T10/3 (light switch connector) -----> to T73a/45

Make a test:

Install a new wire directly from T10/3 to T73a/45. Do not use original wires from factory for Parking lights signal.
Byte18: change the BCM coding if you need. As you know.

In this way should work correctly.
Fernando, wiring is OK for sure.
Everything worked correctly with halogen H7 headlights and halogen DRLs
Perhaps you would have make a test with other LED headlights (or ballast) before make changes in BCM software. :?:

In my BCM 7E0 it did not work.

Ok, for that reason there are no labels in the VCDS program. Door units for PQ25 platform remain a great mystery.

No good for me either (7E0 BCM)

Because of amount of difficulties in searching the equipment which could download the right BCM software. Now I am thinking the easiest way is to buy T6 BCM. And do not disturb you, my friends.

If I knew how to extract my BCM software you would already have it, you can be absolutely sure.

Alexander you never disturb, it's quite the opposite. Talking to you is a great pleasure.

Hmm...

OK I will try the Byte 29 Bit5
Image

Byte 28 Bit3 defines that the high/low beams stalk is wired to the BCM. If I make it 0 I will get incorrect working HB/LB

Ok,

Byte29 Bit5 is related with LED headlights modules.

I believe, you would for sure, Fernando.
I talked to professionals in VAG control units. They have original equipment, they wrote VAS 5054 with engineering ODIS could extract the whole firmware and not only EEPROM. But the original VAS5054 with e-ODIS has online connection and it gets security access online. Original VAS5054 is a very expensive. So even I will find Chinese clone VAS5054 which is able to do the same, but without online connection I need to know the security access code. DEAD END.

Much cheaper is to buy T6 BCM, even used one

Hey Alexander,
if you want, I can order and send you used BCM from Poland
Or you can try to send directly, buy as you know, many sellers don't send abroad.

I think that the price can be negotiated BCM to ~500 PLN + shipping costs

Checked each coding variant. Not helped.
Noticed one interesting thing. When Byte29 Bit5 is 1, with switching low beam or just flashing high beam, there is "yellow bulb" warning light on Instrument cluster appears, but there is no any fault in the 09 centr.electr and in the other control units.
