Get someone to give you a hand with holding down the headlining, makes it much easier

My car went into the bodyshop tomorrow and should be back Wednesday. It is having the cracks under the rear lights repaired, the boot handle resprayed, the roof rack clips resprayed, the dent in the sill sorted and one of my wings realigned. My RX's also went in to get powdercoated. Bumper is being painted today and should be ready by tomorrow
Meanwhile, while the car is away, I have some new bits waiting to go on:

Looks like you've been rather busy of the late (ad spending a fortune!) Glad the gti will be back (and better than ever) soon. Look forward to seeing it complete bud.

The handles were around £9 each and the mats around £45 for the set (I've yet to check if they actually fit lol). I'm looking forward to getting the car in a sort of finished state for the Polo Show. It won't be mint as planned due to the accident damaging my wallet but styling wise, on the outside the car is almost complete

i bought mine direct from a vw dealer £50 all round I think, to be honest you are better off going to just matts and paying less for some with a gti emblem in them!

yup, the standard gti ones are a tad boring to be honest, just have red lining round the outside, I regret spending so much on them now
still a worthy purchase when i had ripspeed matts in before

You mean the handles? If so the price is a few posts up

The mats are an improvement from the boring black ones in mine just now, I'm wanting to keep it OEM

no they are a worthy purchase, I just originally imagined a small gti emblem somewhere, and the matts at edition (just mats) looked pretty cool!
