Yeh it's pretty immense! I'd be scared to touch that kind of thing though. Scared I'd ruin it. I'd be looking at getting one that's a bit thrashed, so it doesn't matter when I rip the engine out, throw the seats away and change the paintwork 8)

ello tim! im sure u have answered this question before as i did read it once but i cant seem to find it now ..... where did u get ur aerial repair kit from ... im in desparate need of one.... and is it hard to do ? cheers dude!

Aye I got mine from vagparts, £13.

It's not hard to do, it involved unscrewing and carefully pulling off the plastic trim, then pulling down the roof foam slowly and carefully til it exposes the aerial. then it's just a case of unscrewing.

Its just foam man, not glued, just secured in with the seals and plastic trims all around the edges.

Sorry I didn't get back to you. Yeh I receieved the pic fine, looks great!!

I'm contemplating getting a full system though, so will have to think things through. It does interest me but don't hold it back!!
