As you can see, this topic is read in many places in the world so we should try be accurate and must think what would be the best for the rest of readers/users. (their spent money and the achieved results with full success)
All of you know you are very special people to me.

And make an easy repair for any malfunctioning when someone does not have extensive knowledge about electrical repairs. It is not your case firegrafik , but it could be the case of many people. (from my experience)
Hmm (if you want) ... the same proposal I made to cmoret. (but they are different installations)
Why I write 'if you want'? Because I do not want to take away anyone the big satisfaction of doing it by oneself.
iichel wrote:HBA is possible without MFA+ but the normal cluster with the segment display does not have an incidator for HBA.
The Scirocco 1K8 mirror could work on the polo 6r foot, but it's not ideal.
the mirror should be on the instrument cluster CAN network. however the coding and diagnosis is done over the powertrain can.
this results in the mirror not showing up in autoscans, and the can gateway is not happy about it.
Therefore, Instrument cluster with MFA+ (for your own safety) and 7E0 mirror are mandatory for 6R. (we do too many tests [emoji38])

EN: I wish I could help you, but the BCM PQ26 is unknown for me. I'm sorry.
Gracias.
Al final lo conseguí con mucha paciencia.

benzinkopf, your installation to 7E0 BCM Max would be a combination between this installation and this one.
Please, send me by email the same images as in the first installation. Thank you.
Should this also be used on a 2011 Polo 6R 1.6 TDI with retrofitted xenon and your auto-light switch?

Hi diskoboy, as can be seen this installation (process) is for a VW Transporter T5.2 (7L3) non Bluemotion, so that the full installation for your 6R BMT with external Gateway would be different.
Many parts of your current installation (with automatic lights) can be used, but first you have to carry all signals from your external Gateway to the 7E0 BCM (Internal Gateway)
iichel did this process (installation) under my recommendation to get that HBA system was recognized through IC CAN-lines. (in case you want detailed information about it)
Elsawin or Erwin would solve all your doubts about the pin assignment and correspondence. (External Gateway & other units to new 7E0 BCM)
This mod will be very hard to me (I think it would be one of the most difficult retrofits in my 6R) as you know, I'm afraid about my windshield...
I read that a lot of people broken the windshield in mk5 when they tried to remove rear mirror..
It's my current mirror:
I saw that guitar string is best tool to remove adhesive plate.
The possibilities are endless with switch, potentiometer -Dimmer-, LEDs colors, etc...
Now I think it is integrated into the infotainment systems - Luxury Cars - and managed from the touch screen.
Thanks for such extensive information about interior mirror. Good job!
Also: Removing interior mirror
To remove my retaining plate (RLS) from the windscreen I used a cheap cord to tie plants (metal-plastic) to avoid damage on the ceramic paint and glass.
Two gloves and patience.

Re: RE: Re: New Member. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Enlarge the hole on the bottom side and the left side according to the measures of the links. OEM hole is 23x16 mm.
Wiring from lighter socket.
The lighting is good. It is seen perfect for day and night.
Hello ciclo
Sorry for asking such an old topic.
How the hole plug is removed? and as the 12-volt socket is removed?
Esp. Como se quita la tapa que tiene el agujero? Y la toma de mechero? Lo he intentado y se mueve todo jejeje no vaya que lo parta.

the safest way is to remove the centre console completely. Sounds more extreme than it is...
remove the handbrake cover, gearknob base, armrest, radio and clima decors and the middle console.
Then you can remove the centre tunnel. it's about 15 minutes of work.
The dealer has a special tool for it

Going back to our last conversation...
...can anyone confirm, that windshield from Polo 6RU Sedan fit to Polo 6R Hatchback?
