As I saw on his autoscan, 61 Battery Regulator is already unmarked in gateway. And the specific features of this unit, even it excluded from the Installation list but it active all the time because it is the part of the BCM, like Gateway (except BMT) and despite of it unmarked in gateway, the coding of 61 Battery Regulator has battery and alternator LIN regulation, and because of its absence the fault appears. So the main thing is not only exclude 61 Battery Regulator from the Installation list, but before that switch off the LIN regulation for the battery and alternator. This is possible in the coding.

I thot it is critical where the module can monitor your low battery level and shut down unnecessary equipment for one last engine start? I ve thought once to install the module, but I'm not sure whether the function that i want like above is there or not.

As a rule battery /alternator LIN regulation exists on the cars with start/stop system

Totally agree. I made a small mistake of reading... I just woke up and I'm still having my first coffee...Image

Nothing new, recently we were doing some tests in a '14 (México) without positive results for the Auto function. It works with the coding I have posted, but after 12-14 seconds it is disabled itself when you lock the car with remote.
We think it is related to instrument cluster or BCM. (cluster without MFA, 6R0 BCM).
This 6R is very similar to mine except these units.

It remains a mystery. :?

Example PR-code
Image

Z01,Z02,etc... are the final VW codes which meets all other PR-codes (requirements) for a particular part. (only is a simple explanation to understand)

Sometimes it is hard to know all PR-codes, even in the original ETKA, which are usually the key to many endless questions.

Hi Ciclo,

Have you tested MIB 1 (Discovery Pro) units in your Polo after upgrade to 7E0 BCM?

Image

I've tried connect a Golf 7 MIB 1 unit yesterday to infotainment can. Didn't work.

The display in the climatronic unit was just flashing as if the messages on the can-bus was totally wrong. Tomorrow I'll test with comfort can to see if it works (it properly won't work).

The screen is a 6C0 919 603 and it fits perfectly in my car :)

The radio it self is working perfect when listing to radio or using the navigation. It just won't turn on/off or interior lights in the buttons doesn't work - due to no communication on the can-bus. Wondering if someone has made a 'can-bus converter' just like in the old days with RNS-E in Audi...

The split Disciver pro system won't work as it MQB platform, you need the single unit Discover media as that is PQ platform,

Also Component Protection should be supported by Instrument cluster  @iichel probably know something more about this :)

Car (MQB car) should still be able to communicate with the radio. Also VCDS if you press SETUP for approx 10 seconds, enter green menu and choose to boot up to 10 times (can't remember the exact menu to choose)
