Okay. You're right, now I'm not aware of all those small important details. I am in another universe doing other things...

PS, I was leading CAN cables to the rear of the car, from the instrument cluster, for a future mod.

The cover of the hood opener, at the footrest was bugging me. It is slightly bent, because of the stainless steel footrest.
I put a screw into the white plastic for the retainer of the original push-pin.
Then I slided on the cover upwards, while pushing the part towards the outside. Then it hooks up with the screw and it's much neater

iichel, you are very provident
This is familiar to me, when I lead the harness from front PDC sensors with CAN wires etc. to the control unit in the trunk.

So if I get the good results with test connection to the RKDS unit I will repeat the procedure.

I was always worried that only my wiring looms like like a mess, but I am happy it's not just me.

next to the left rear seat, I have too many wiring looms...
- Front + rear PDC (power, can, front sensors, buzzer)
- Dynaudio to the tweeter
- Highline camera (can, power, video)
- DAB and FM2
- trailer module (power, share CAN with camera))
- a +30 and +15 wires from the fuse box to the boot for various reasons (lights, trailer, boot logo motor)
- Lane assist (power, switch, can trough isoation relays, lights in the mirrors)
- +30 to the 12V socket, 230V socket
- TPMS (can, power)

As long as the door sill cover and the cover next to the seat still fit, I am happy

Behind the radio it is not much better either

Very interesting! Could you write about it something more?
Is it similar to https://www.drive2.ru/l/9224455/?

No fault code found.
you need two radar sensors, the holders. place them behind the rear bumper.
then the wiring is simple to make. the isolation relay is operated as in the ELSAWin diagram for T6

the mirrors of the Polo are not made for the warning lights, so I had to cut it out with a stanley knife.

I have not had the time yet to write it all up. Bit if you have the wiring diagrams from, i.e. T6 or T5, it's super simple :-)

Wow. So the existing mfa+ IC can support indicator for the lane assist? Or it just give the warning lights via the side mirror?

You can ask ZZZhuk if there is a way to display the high cruise control in MFA+
